Behind Victoria Pendleton - the only Briton defending an individual title at this World Championships - there is a gang of super-competitive young GB women. We have never had the strength in depth before but now it's there, with the likes of Lizzie Armitstead and Joanna Rowsell. Olympic individual silver medallist Wendy Houvenaghel will add experience to their pursuit team and Armitstead is likely to challenge in the scratch race as well. I had a chance to chat to Lizzie recently and she is really positive. To be selected for your first World Championships with a chance of winning an event is massive.
