F1's rollercoaster race to the title
Lewis Hamilton (left) and Robert Kubica suffer differing forturnes in Canada

A catastrophic Canadian GP for Hamilton ended with Kubica becoming the third man to lead the 2008 drivers' championship.

Hamilton had been on course for victory but, in what Raikkonen labelled a "stupid" mistake, he crashed into the back of the Finn's Ferrari in the pits, putting him and his rival into retirement.

Kubica raced clear for an historic win - a first for him and BMW Sauber - while Massa could only finish fifth after muddled team tactics.
