It is just one year to go before the Beijing Olympics and Team GB will be looking to improve on their 30-medal haul in Athens. The likes of Dame Kelly Holmes, Matthew Pinsent, Shirley Robertson and Amir Khan were all grabbing the headlines back in 2004.
There are over 300 gold medals up for grabs across 28 sports, with BMX, marathon swimming and women's 3,000 metre steeplechase making their Olympic debuts.
