Minnows' progress pleases Platini
Cluj's unexpected progress through the Champions League qualifers into the main tournament has delighted Uefa president Michel Platini.
The Frenchman has campaigned for a greater share of places in the main competition to countries from outside the top-ranking nations.
"That is what makes football so great," Platini said after Cluj's victory over Roma, while Cypriot champions Anorthosis Famagusta held Werder Bremen to a 0-0 draw.
"It is what people like (Arsenal boss Arsene) Wenger do not want, little clubs beating the big clubs, because they want their business."
