Jersey go into Saturday's 2010 Muratti knowing that a win will give them five straight titles for the first time since the 1960s.

But Guernsey will provide tough opposition following their FA Systems cup final win just a week ago.

Jersey boss Jon Welsh feels Guernsey will be considered favourites following the cup final victory.

"They didn't face us in that cup," he told BBC Jersey. "So we'll see if they will be Channel Island champions."

Jersey's prolific striker Craig Leitch has pulled out of the match and will be replaced by his St Paul's team mate J.P. Martyn.

Eight St Paul's players make the squad, including Luke Watson, whose brother Dave joins him in the starting line up.

"I play at St Paul's in midfield with him," said Luke.

"We have a good relationship on and off the pitch."

Jersey skipper Stuart Andre, who scored the only goal in last year's match, is confident.

"These are just one-off games, and it's all about who holds their nerve and who comes out better on the day," said Andre.

"You need a bit of luck but everyone's confident here."

No side has won five consecutive Murattis since the Jersey team took eight on the trot between 1958 and 1965.

Guernsey are expected to represent England in Europe next year in the UEFA Systems Cup, while Jersey are reigning Island Games champions.

The whole match is broadcast live on BBC Jersey from 1345 Saturday 8 May.
