Pakistan's Moin Khan has been fined 75% of his match fee after an outburst during the first Test against India. Moin complained after Australian umpire Simon Taufel adjudged him lbw as Pakistan limped towards a heavy defeat.
Captain Inzamam-ul-Haq and manager Haroon Rasheed accompanied Moin to the 20-minute hearing with match referee Ranjan Madugalle.
Level one of the ICC code of conduct prohibits showing dissent at an umpire's decision.
"A video tape of the incident was viewed and evidence heard from the umpires who laid the charge.
"After due consideration of the evidence and the circumstances, match referee Ranjan Madugalle imposed a penalty of 75 per cent of the players match fee," an ICC statement read.
Moin's was the sixth wicket to fall as Pakistan struggled to 207-9, still 61 runs behind their arch-rivals, at the end of day four.
