No complaints from India captain
Sourav Ganguly's disappointment was clear after the match
India captain Sourav Ganguly said he had no complaints after his side was beaten by Pakistan in the third and final Test in Bangalore.

India were bowled out for 214 late on the final day to clinch a 168-run victory and level the series at 1-1.

"We had lost just one wicket till lunch, but then saw nine more fall in the last two sessions," said Ganguly.

"We may have become very defensive but Pakistan should get the credit for playing better than us."

India's much-vaunted middle order offered little resistance to the Pakistani spinners and Ganguly admitted that had been the crucial factor.

"We were always under pressure, losing wickets constantly," said Ganguly.

He played down suggestions that defeat could cost him the captaincy, after a number of recent reports calling for deputy Rahul Dravid to be promoted in his place.

"I am not worried about the captaincy," said Ganguly.

"It's for the selectors to decide because I have captained India in 40-odd Tests and have nothing to prove to anyone.

"It's disappointing to be the captain and not scoring, but I have been in this situation before and have come back."

It seems likely, however, that India will be looking for a new coach following the one-day matches against Pakistan, with New Zealander John Wright set to step down after four and a half years in charge.
