Fernandos seem to come and go in the Sri Lankan team, but Dinusha will hope to make more of an impact than some.
In his debut against England he showed no nerves at all on an admittedly helpful surface and removed Andrew Strauss and Michael Vaughan.
His domestic cricket stats show that he can also bat and that his two wickets against England should not have come as a surprise given his fine strike rate.
In first-class cricket, meanwhile, his wickets have come at a healthy average.
He was born in Panadura and plays for the Sebastianites Club.
