FT: Kilmarnock 0-1 St Mirren
St Mirren manager Craig McLeish tells BBC Scotland: "Second half, our discipline and shape defensively... they didn't create clear-cut chances that hurt us.
"But I want to play the way we did in the first half for 90 minutes. I know that's probably not realistic. There'll be times we have to suffer without the ball. We had to do that in the second half, but we were solid defensively.
"The first half was great. It's what we want it to look like, played with real quality, but disappointed we didn't get a goal to follow the first one.
"Someone just told me it's our first win here in over 10 years. Just delighted to get another three points."

So it sounds like Rangers will be keeping Nicolas Raskin, but does the "work with what we've got" line from Derek McInnes suggest their transfer business is done?
They have been heavily linked with Portland Timbers striker Kevin Kelsy.

More from Rangers manager Derek McInnes on the transfer window, which slams shut at 17:00 BST tomorrow: "It seems to have been the longest window I can remember - so much going on. For us now, it will do everybody good if we can get the window shut and work with what we've got.
"Players always settle a wee bit more. We've made some good signings, very young as you can see at times, but I'm confident we've got good talent here that can give us lots of encouragement between now and January and then see where we are.
"We've now got two home games against Motherwell and St Mirren and hopefully we can be as good as we were in the best spells today while making it more of a 90-minute performance.
"I'm just glad I'm able to choose [Nicolas Raskin] tonight. We can do with his experience in there. I thought he got better in the second half. Obviously delighted if we manage to hold on to him and it looks like we will."
FT: Falkirk 1-2 Rangers
Rangers boss Derek McInnes tells BBC Scotland: "Pleased with the win, pleased with certain aspects of it. Our start was good - a brilliant goal from Lawrence [Shankland] - and we passed up one or two other opportunities.
"The pitch was difficult - very greasy and slippy. We invited unnecessary pressure on ourselves, no more than the equaliser. I thought Falkirk were the better team for a 15-minute period in the second half and we were fortunate not to concede.
"The characteristics and strength of the team to bounce back and get the win was brilliant, a lovely finish again from Lawrence.
"He passed up a really good chance, but he didn't let him affect him and his second goal is a lovely calm finish from such an important player. Delighted for him, delighted for the team to pick up another three points.
"We are looking for learnings and improvements as we go along, but as long as you can win games as you try to get better. It's no bad thing to win when you're not at your best.
"We can fine tune some of the attacking play, but we've got to not give too much encouragement to our opponents."

Kilmarnock manager Neil McCann tells BBC Scotland: "You can see the boys are lacking a wee bit of confidence just now. Losing an early goal has been an Achilles heel.
"It's just trying to get them to understand there's a lot of time left in the game and I felt they got themselves back into the match. Dominated the second half without looking like we were going to get back to our best.
"We just need that bit of a break. It's hard sometimes. I felt it last year when I came in, to dig deep. The confidence is low.
"But they really stood up in the second half, really went at it. We've got to keep going, keep believing, preparing right. It'll turn for them, without question."

Aberdeen boss Stephen Robinson tells BBC Scotland: "It's been a tough few days. I thought we lacked belief in the first half, we were way too passive for the first goal and we got punished by how clinical Celtic were.
"We hit the crossbar at 2-0, which could change the game, they go up the other end and we make a mistake and the game is effectively over.
"The positive I can take is I got a response second half to an extent. At least we showed a belief that we could play and we could pass.
"Our season won't be defined by that, we won't let it be defined by that. It's up to us to respond on Saturday with a performance.
"By the time we were brave it was too late and we got punished from a clinical side. They beat LASK 3-0 here, who are a very good side, much better than us, so we won't be defined by this.
"I think I've got a fair idea [of my best XI]. I've signed 13 players, close to 16 have gone out. There's a lot of change, it was never ever going to be easy, it was never ever going to be without bumps in the road, and we've had a few."

Those papers Martin O'Neill said need signed must've been done very quickly because Celtic have just confirmed the arrival of Joel van den Berg from PSV Eindhoven on a four-year deal.
The 19-year-old only played six times for PSV's first team but thrived at youth level.

Celtic manager Martin O'Neill tells BBC Scotland: "We played very well. We seemed to control the game for the most part and I thought the first goal was a big moment because the game was still in the balance.
"Overall I'm just delighted with the win, the goals we scored and pretty pleased with the display.
"He's [Camilo Duran] a terrific player. He has set the tone for us since the beginning of the season. He's playing in a position which is really strong for him but he can play in a number of positions, he's that good."
On imminent signing Joel van den Berg, O'Neill adds: "I think there are a few papers to sign at this minute, maybe that can be done this evening. We want him, we need him, I'll be delighted when it's done."
When asked about any further transfer, he jokes: "I have done very well giving you all this information."

Dylan Levitt's debut goal helped classy Motherwell end their four-game winless run with a comfortable Scottish Premiership victory against 10-man Dundee United.
Wales international Levitt, who joined the Steelmen on Tuesday, announced himself to the Fir Park faithful eight minutes after coming off the bench, dragging his right-footed effort in for the hosts' third against his former side.
That was after first Motherwell goals for Seb Palmer-Houlden and Alex Lowry, either side of the break against a United side once again led by assistant Lee Sharp as manager Jim Goodwin recovers from a spell in hospital.
His side were up against it early on, though, when Emmanuel Agyei caught Alex Lowry a few yards outside the box, referee Calum Scott showing no hesitation in sending him off despite the 21-year-old's protests.
Motherwell looked in the mood against 11 men - Emmanuel Longelo lashing off a post after just two minutes - but were even more up for it against 10, with Palmer-Houlden neatly sweeping home Tom Sparrow's cross five minutes after the dismissal.
Former Rangers youngster Lowry has caught the eye since joining on loan from Wycombe Wanderers and was pulling all sorts of strings again before releasing a net-bulging strike from distance.
Two tough Conference League legs against Freiburg were book-ended by a League Cup defeat by Stenhousemuir and an entertaining draw with St Mirren, but this was a much-deserved - and perhaps needed - first home league victory of the campaign for Alfred Johansson’s side, as they continue their unbeaten Premiership start.

The home fans were on their feet indulging in their latest rendition of "stand up and sing for Motherwell" when Lowry smashed in their deserved - and needed - second.
It sounds like a broken record, but what a time they're having. Their team are a joy to watch, and they found their groove in the Lanarkshire rain against United.
There are only a few hours left of the transfer window, and should they manage to keep a hold of Emmanuel Longelo, then that ought to be some of the best business in the land.
It boggles the mind that clubs - even in this country - haven't thrown money at the lung-busting left-back. He's been at the heart of the hectic start to the season, but is showing no signs of being leggy. Quite the opposite.
He could have had a hat-trick of assists such were the quality of his balls across the face of goal, while he cracked the post himself.
In a performance like this, though, it's unfair to single just him out. The goalscorers - all new boys - in addition to fellow fresh faces Jardell Kanga and Joe Hodge, look right at home here at Fir Park, and who can blame them?
The European dream may be over this term, but what a season the supporters of the Steelmen look set to have again.
No team wants to lose a player, but no one certainly wants to lose one to this free-flowing Motherwell side.
What looked set to be a fairly end-to-end contest in the opening 13 minutes or so turned into one-way traffic in United's direction following Agyei's red.
With that in mind, United deserve credit for keeping the scoreline as low as they did for as long as they did. It really was a matter of when, not if, the floodgates would open for Well.
Amid all their domination, though, United did still have their chance on the odd counter.
Zac Sapsford losing his footing at the moment he was about to pull the trigger in the box in the first half is the kind of action that need be acted upon when up against it. But it wasn't.
Little to learn, in truth. But plenty to ponder for Sharp and Goodwin over the phone.
Motherwell manager Alfred Johansson: "It was a good performance. We felt last week how it is to play with a red card, and [tonight] the opponent had to do it. I felt we dealt really well with that scenario.
"We kept the focus today, and that's something we felt we didn't do on Sunday, and that's why I'm super proud and happy with my players at how they reacted to that."
Dundee Utd assistant manager Lee Sharp: "The red card obviously kills us. I thought the boys were excellent and worked really hard and tirelessly in that time.
"In the final third, I think we could've done a bit better. Our message at half-time was just to keep it as tight as we could and be compact and organised and if we keep it at 1-0, we will get a chance at some point."
