Jordan Clark has scored five goals in his last nine appearances for Luton
Midfielder Jordan Clark's eighth goal of the season saw Luton bounce back from successive away defeats by beating Blackpool at Kenilworth Road.
The Hatters dominated the first half, Shayden Morris firing straight at Bailey Peacock-Farrell, as the visiting goalkeeper also tipped Cohen Bramall's header away after 20 minutes.
Town threatened again just after the half hour, Wells firing too close to the keeper, as he was also off target with a back post header.
Clark then shot straight at Peacock-Farrell from 25 yards, while after the break, the Hatters looked the most likely again, Nahki Wells denied by Peacock-Farrell midway through and Gideon Kodua slicing ambitiously over the bar from 20 yards.
Luton finally had the opener after 71 minutes when Joe Johnson's cross saw Zac Ashworth miscue his clearance, Clark rifling home via a slight deflection.
That saw Blackpool come out of their shells, Tom Bloxham firing wide, while Neil Ennis should have had a penalty after being caught by Kasey Palmer, Lee Evans' late attempt deflecting inches wide.
