Walsall's draw with Shrewsbury this afternoon means their lead at the top of League Two has been cut in half to two points following Swindon's emphatic win at local rivals Bristol Rovers and Notts Couny's victory at Grimsby Town.

Bromley are only a point back in fourth after a last-gasp winner at Accrington through Michael Cheek, who else?

Salford's dramatic win over Colchester at lunchtime sees them move up a place to sixth while Cambridge United drop out of the play-off places following their draw with MK Dons.

At the bottom, Newport County remain at the foot of the table and are now four points adrift of everyone else following a defeat at home to Fleetwood, while Harrogate Town climb out of the drop zone, where they are replaced by free-falling Bristol Rovers, after picking up a point at Cheltenham Town.

  5. 'A wonderful win for Bradford City'published at 17:13 GMT 13 December 2025

    FT: Bradford 2-0 Reading

    Andy Kiwomya
Ex-Bradford forward and head of performance on BBC Radio Leeds

It is a wonderful win for Bradford City.

They showed hard work, energy and then they were just clinical with the two goals.

The one from Antoni Sarcevic was a clean finish and then the industrious and trickery from Tyreik Wright to run the ball all the way to the byline and then dink it to the far post, that is what you want from Bradford City.

Collectively they did well as a unit and they deserved the three points.

  6. 'It was a professional performance'published at 17:07 GMT 13 December 2025

    FT: Bradford 2-0 Reading

    Jamie Raynor
BBC Radio Leeds' Bradford City commentator

That is now a fourth successive league victory, a fourth successive clean sheet and the Bantams are solidifying their position in the top two of the League One table

It was a professional performance, professional goals from Antoni Sarcevic and Bobby Pointon on what is his 100th appearance for the club.

That has just underlined the intention of Graham Alexander's side this season.
