That is the EFL schedule wrapped-up for Easter.

We have seen so much happen and tonight was no exception with Bromley edging ever closer to League One for the first time in their history.

Port Vale's win might just be a consolation come the end of the season but you can read about that and Bromley's victory on our dedicated League One and League Two pages.

We are back on Friday with West Brom v Millwall in the Championship and Colchester United's meeting with Swindon Town in League Two.

Until then, thanks for joining us and enjoy the rest of your evening.

If Bromley win tonight I think you'll find that a victory at MK Dons on Saturday lunchtime and they're up!

    Steve, Norfolk

Not quite, Steve - they need 87 points, as it stands, to be mathematically certain. But, yeah, really if they win on Saturday, it would take a crazy set of results for them to finish outside the top three.

  3. ‘Confidence and belief’published at 22:19 BST 7 April

    FT: Bromley 2-1 Shrewsbury

Bromley manager Andy Woodman told Sky Sports:

“We’re delighted to get the three points, that’s all it’s about at this stage. The performance can sometimes be a little nervous but the three points is massive for us tonight.

“We’ve really made this a fortress and the guys have taken real pride in that. To concede and then come back shows the character or the lads and I’m really proud of them.

“We’ve been here long enough to know it’s not over I hurl it’s over but with the results at the weekend, we knew we had to win tonight. We’ve got a huge four games coming up but we’ve really put ourselves in the driving seat.

“We haven’t feared anybody. These other clubs are big clubs compared to us, way bigger budgets, more experience in every department. So we’ve really relished these games, we haven’t shied away from anyone, we’ve given everything in every game and now we can go into these games with belief and confidence that we might become champions.”

There have only been four seasons this century where 83 points wasn't enough for promotion from the fourth tier. One foot in L1 for Bromley now?

    Alan, London

It certainly looks like Bromley are in the box seat Alan but with games against MK Dons, Cambridge United, Salford and Walsall still to play nothing is decided yet.

  5. 'It's a massive three points'published at 22:10 BST 7 April

    FT: Bromley 2-1 Shrewsbury

Bromley have edged closer to promotion with their win over Shrewsbury tonight.

Midfielder Mitch Pinnock has told Sky Sports:

"It was a massive three points. the advantage of playing today, we saw what happened yesterday and it went for us so it was important we got the three points to get the gap as big as we can.

"My game is to get it out wide and get it in the box and we've done it all season - we put it in there and ask questions.

On wearing odd boots in the game:

"I've been getting bad blisters all season so I wear odd boots."

  6. Another step closer for Bromleypublished at 22:07 BST 7 April

    FT: Bromley 2-1 Shrewsbury

    League Two table

With Cambridge United still to play Notts County, Bromley will only need four points from their remaining four games to secure promotion to League One for the first time in their history.

Bromley's next two games are against MK Dons and Cambridge United so tonight's win was doubly important.

Shrewsbury nominally still require two points to be safe.

Bromley have shown great character in the last two games, finding that late equaliser against Barnet and then coming from behind to win against Shrewsbury tonight. Other teams might have folded under the pressure. They'll take great confidence into the remaining games now. The title is theirs to lose.

  8. Small consolation for Valepublished at 21:59 BST 7 April

    FT: Port Vale 1-0 Rotherham

    League One table

Port Vale's 1-0 win does little really to help their plight.

They have a 14-point gap to bridge while hoping those sides above them keep losing.

For Rotherham, with fewer games remaining, their race seems almost run.

  9. FULL-TIMEpublished at 21:54 BST 7 April

    Bromley 2-1 Shrewsbury

    Bromley doing Bromley things.

The League Two leaders score twice from set-pieces - that is 31 goals from such situations this season.

Marcus Ifill and Kyle Cameron are the men to profit to make it 21 home games unbeaten for the Ravens - only two home matches to go to complete the season unbeaten in the league in front of their own fans.

That all came after Bradley Ihionvien had given Shrewsbury an early lead which they might have added to with chances for Josh Ruffels and Ismeal Kabia.

You have to go back to March last year for the last time Bromley lost a league game at home and four more points will secure promotion, while Shrewsbury still have a little more work to do to secure their EFL status.

  10. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:51 BST 7 April

    Bromley 2-1 Shrewsbury

Mitch Pinnock's work is done for Bromley tonight.

    Brooklyn Ilunga is his replacement.

We are into four minutes of stoppage time.

  12. ‘Hard watch’published at 21:47 BST 7 April

    FT: Port Vale 1-0 Rotherham

    Phil Sproson
Former Port Vale captain on BBC Radio Stoke

It was a very hard watch.

Vale stuck to their task in the second half and were worthy winners in the end.

Rotherham kept squandering chances. They somehow missed a header from three-yards out.

But it was two poor sides and in boxing terms, Vale won on points.

  13. YELLOW CARDpublished at 21:44 BST 7 April

    Bromley 2-1 Shrewsbury

Sam Stubbs takes down his man and the Shrewsbury defender is cautioned.

    We have six minutes remaining.

  14. FULL-TIMEpublished at 21:43 BST 7 April

    Port Vale 1-0 Rotherham

Ryan Croasdale's fine first-half volley makes it successive home league wins for Port Vale for the first time in more than a year.

Sam Nombe had two efforts saved for Rotherham whose goal drought on the road now stretches to more than six hours.

In reality, both these sides will likely be in League Two next season.

  15. Postpublished at 21:42 BST 7 April

    Port Vale 1-0 Rotherham

Sam Nombe again for Rotherham gets on the end of a cross and again his header is straight at Joe Gauci.

You cannot say the visitors have not had opportunities to take something tonight.

  16. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 21:40 BST 7 April

    Bromley 2-1 Shrewsbury

On come Isaac England and Anthony Scully for Shrewsbury.

Kevin Berkoe and John Marquis are the men to make way.

Andy Woodman's side seem to have control of this one now as we head into the final 15 minutes.

They would need only four more points from their remaining four games to secure promotion.

Shrewsbury would not yet be safe, albeit they're pretty close.

  18. ‘Poor game’published at 21:38 BST 7 April

    Port Vale 1-0 Rotherham

    Phil Bowers
    BBC Radio Stoke commentator

It’s been a tough watch tonight.

    It’s been a poor game.

You can easily see why these two teams are down the bottom of the league.

  19. Postpublished at 21:37 BST 7 April

    Port Vale 1-0 Rotherham

An extra six minutes have been tacked onto the end of this one.

  20. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 21:34 BST 7 April

    Port Vale 1-0 Rotherham
