We've come to the end of the road with this live text.

Thanks as always for joining us as Derby's Sandy Ryan claimed the WBC light-welterweight title. Here's Kal Sajad's ringside report.

The main event maybe didn't provide the fireworks we hoped for between Leigh Wood and Josh Warrington but at least they can now close the book on that feud.

Who knows if we will see either fighter in the ring again, but the two former world champions have given us plenty to get excited about over the years.

Before we let you go, I think there's just enough time for a shameless plug.

I had the opportunity to speak with five-weight world champion Claressa Shields earlier this week as she prepares to defend her undisputed heavyweight status against Franchon Crews-Dezurn in Detroit.

After Shields was done imitating my English accent, she opened up on plans for the future with the likes of unified welterweight champion Lauren Price and Mikaela Mayer, who holds the WBO welterweight title and is also a unified champion at light-middleweight, recently calling her out.

"If Mikaela and Lauren want to prove their greatness - and I'm willing to give them that chance - then it's 163lb and 165lb. I don't have to prove anything," Shields told BBC Sport.

"I don't know why these girls think I have to go down two or three weight classes when Terence Crawford went up three weight classes to fight Canelo [Alvarez]."

  4. 'Now I need to make some money'published at 23:26 GMT 21 February

Fawaz beats Davis by majority decision

Speaking to DAZN after defeating Ishmael Davis to become the British and Commonwealth light-middleweight champion, Bilal Fawaz said: "It's sensational. It's overwhelming. I haven't digested all the feelings that are going through my head. But I know when I get to the hotel - that Eddie booked for me - I'm going to lay down in the bath and smile. It will be a smile of joy.

"I can tell you, I knew I was going to get it because I know what I'm capable of. I'm not a domestic fighter. I'm not. It's just that nobody gave me a chance. Eddie gave me a chance and I've proved him right ever since. Now I need to make some money and feed my family."

  5. 'Time for a break'published at 23:26 GMT 21 February

Fawaz beats Davis by majority decision

In tonight's co-main event, Bilal Fawaz outpointed Ishmael Davis to win the British and Commonwealth light-middleweight titles.

Davis started strongly but tired quickly and allowed Fawaz to take control.

Posting on X after the defeat, Davis wrote: "I will be back. This is boxing I'm afraid I just got tired I think its time for a break. Well done to Fawaz."

Josh Warrington, speaking to DAZN: "It's my fifth defeat. Before I'd come into here, I'd be beaten four times and they [fans] back me through thick and thin. They are the best supporters in the world and they follow their own through thick and thin.

"I'm not going to make a decision. I've only been down here a week, I miss my kids immensely. I'm not going to make no rash decisions. With that being said, I can't keep coming out here - when people are spending their hard earned money - and not giving it it absolutely everything. I tried my best. I wanted it bad. I wanted it so bad.

"I've been obsessed with Leigh for the last 14 weeks, I've trained immensely. I've worked so hard in in the gym and in sparring. I couldn't do anymore. My head has been a bit all over the place. When I came in here tonight, I was thinking about it a little bit too much and you can't do that in the sport of boxing you certainly can't do that against people like Leigh Wood."

Josh Warrington is a warrior, I was at Leeds to watch him win his world title. He has been in some absolute wars. Call time now, you've done more than enough.

  8. Wood outpunches Warringtonpublished at 23:17 GMT 21 February

Wood beats Warrington by unanimous decision

Comparing punch stats for Wood v Warrington 2. Punches thrown - 612 Wood, 311 Warrington. Punches landed - 125 Wood, 84 Warrignton. Power punches landed- 122 Wood, 59 Warrington.

Leigh Wood threw almost twice as many punches as Josh Warrington and wasn't far off landing double that of the Leeds fighter.

One of the easier fights for the three judges to score.

  9. Wood 'not sure' on retirement yetpublished at 23:16 GMT 21 February

Wood beats Warrington by unanimous decision

Leigh Wood, speaking to DAZN: "My body felt good. Mentally, I felt good. Physically, I felt good. Little bit more nervous going in because I've had a long time out the ring but...I know what you're hinting at.

"I'm not too sure yet. I'm not going to make a decision on the spot. But what a fight to finish on if it is the last one."

A fight at the City Ground next? "If it's the right person, it's something I'd probably struggle to turn down. The main thing tonight was to inspire the next generation. I was up in these stands watching Carl Froch and it inspired me. I looked round and thought one day I want to sell out this place.

"Hopefully there are other fighters that feel the same way. If I've inspired one or two fighters, I've done the job I wanted to do."

Wood also had a quick chat with BBC Radio 5 Live:

"It's getting harder and harder to be away from my kids. They sacrifice as much as me. Credit to Josh. What a tough guy. I never really expected it to go past four rounds. I wasn't nailing him with some of the shots I thought I would, some are getting through - but he's a tough guy."

Is it the City Ground fight you want?

"Possibly. Or even back here if it was the right fight. I'm not fighting any young killers. I'm not coming out to get flattened out in front of my own crowd. But even if I don't have to and that was my last fight, I'd be happy to call it a day. We'll see. I'll go away and think about it. I won't make any rash decisions straight away, I'm still full of adrenaline."

Think time has caught up with Warrington. He's lost that speed and accuracy he once had. Time to call an end to a great boxing career Josh.

    Mike

Time to knock (what has been a stellar career) in the head for Warrington. A true warrior, would be sad to see him fight on and get hurt - he doesn't deserve that.

    Wood v Warrington 2

It's no secret that Wood and Warrington aren't best friends but at least there is some respect shown at the bell.

A brief embrace before they retreat to their respective corners.

Wood goes back over to Warrington and they share a smile and a few words before hugging it out again.

We wait for the judges but I think we all know how this is going to be announced.

  19. Round twelvepublished at 22:52 GMT 21 February

    Wood v Warrington 2

Wood is backed on to the ropes as chants of "Leigh Wood, he's one of our own" rings out. Wood cups his ear and waves his hand to ask for more from the crowd.

Warrington is desperately throwing short shots as they clinch on the ropes again.

It's not going to be enough though as the seconds tick away.

Or is it? Warrington lands another big shot and gets Wood's attention.

    But there is the bell.

  20. Round twelvepublished at 22:50 GMT 21 February

    Wood v Warrington 2

Into the final round and it's looking highly likely that Wood is going to get a second win over Warrington.

They meet in the middle and touch gloves.

There's a little stumble from Warrington as he walks on to a left hook.
