How to service a snowboard
Melting the wax onto the base
Melting the wax: hold the wax against the iron and dribble it onto the board. Make sure that the iron isn't so hot that it makes the wax smoke.

Spreading the melted wax with the waxing iron, then scraping off the excess.

Once the wax has been dribbled on, use the iron to spread it all over the base (going from nose to tail). When you're satisfied that you've covered the whole area, wait 5-10 mins for the wax to set and then scrape off the excess using a plastic scraper (nose to tail).
