The big news this week is that work to get an outdoor, concrete park built in Penicuik is under way.
It's in the preliminary stages at the moment, but ideally, the plan is to have building starting this summer, with an eye to being finished around October 2005 (but don't quote us on that).
With the Edinburgh park also being (hopefully) built by this summer, this all means that the east coast will finally have some new WAY overdue parks. Just think - Edinburgh, Penicuik AND Livi - sheesh!
