Paddy was getting tech with his usual flip tricks and he was also throwing grinds down all over the place. Jordan Coleman is about three foot tall and still skated better than guys twice his size. He was trying kickflip indy's and all other types of Tom foolery. Not bad for a Hobbit.
Another, quite hilarious, treat was watching Jordan Spiers doing some Foot Skating (randomly running around pretending to have a skateboard at ones feet) He was kicking it old Skool!
Near the end of the session I came frustratingly close to landing a barspin air in the halfpipe, but it wasn't to be. Ho Hum. Soon it was time to leave, so it was back on the bus to eat some lunch and head for Perth.
When we arrived there was some kind of a fairground being set up beside the park which caused some excitement for a moment due to the fact that DODGEMS RULE (I'm so hardcore it's untrue)! Anyway it was off the bus again and into the park.
The place was pretty busy which put a lot of people off, as they weren't really in the mood for playing human pinball with the locals. Still, they were treated to the sight of some guy pulling a blunt to fakie on the big quarter, which I'm sure must have left him with the need to change his underwear.
From our group, Calum Doris spent a large majority of the time trying to Melon over the box and after a whole lot of falling he finally stuck it clean - WOOHA! I decided to try and gap the roll-in but after a few bitch runs and a few>failed attempts I decided it wasn't to be. Simply couldn't find enough speed. Ho Hum again.
The rain looked like it might play a part in the days events but luckily it stayed off and a good time was had by all. There was just time for a group photo before we all got back on the bus for the last time and headed for home. The journey this time consisted of a raffle and some skate videos and a deck were up for grabs, I think, as well as a few stickers and vouchers too.
A couple of hours later we were all back home in sunny Airdrie and Coatbridge and everyone made their way back to their hooses for a well earned rest. I would like to say a really big thanks to Joan Doris, the busdriver, everyone in NLESS and that guy at Perth who stopped the park to let me try the roll-in gap.
