 | | | | | | | | | | | I take a lot of photos and many of them don't end up on Airtight because they're just random photos. A few weeks ago, Fuzzy Steve (he of long manual lines and skatepark fury) suggested I start a photo gallery, so here it is. If you'd like to submit any pics for the gallery, just email them to airtight@bbc.co.uk
click to enlarge | | Mike Aitken at Livi in 2000, shortly before landing on his head. |
click to enlarge | | Mike Aitken again, using the power of style to look really good whilst on a bike. |
click to enlarge | | Drew Sowerby on the same day at Livi and, as Rooftop said, he was 'more impressive and went higher'. |
click to enlarge | | When I showed this Polaroid to Mike, he was at first scared of me because he thought I'd shot it another day and had been stalking him ever since, waiting for just the right time to present my work. I'm not joking. |
click to enlarge | | This photo of John was taken between vert demos at the Telford Backyard Jam just after he related to me the story of his worst crash in which his seat tried to 'enter him'. |
click to enlarge | | Gogo at Unit 23. Gaze at the angle of the bars and insert hilarious 'not quite' caption. |
click to enlarge | | David Lorimer with an invert on the big quarter at Perth, shortly after the park was opened. |
click to enlarge | | Lewis again with a hefty 180 over a barrier at Westburn, Aberdeen. |
click to enlarge | | "What's that? Everton have lost again and have gone crap again? Ahh well. Me? I'm just out riding. Nah it's ok, I can talk". |
click to enlarge | | Jonny had heard that doing barspins whilst pouting at girls gives you a better chance of pulling. Only time will tell. |
click to enlarge | | Terrid getting bored of trying, unsuccessfully, to pull a tailwhip. |
click to enlarge | | Jonny, casual-as-you-like, whilst smithing a bar-height ledge that's been on my to-do list for too long. He did about six grind/stalls on this and each one was pulled perfect first time. |
click to enlarge | | Sub boxes have to be made the most of under the Kingston as within two hours they've usually been burnt by hate-neds. |
click to enlarge | | Colin says: 'Footplant at Caldercruix. Look closely at the foot position - I missed the ramp and fell flat on my face seconds after the pic was taken. True kodak moment. |
click to enlarge | | This photo was in no way staged. Terrid assures me that he really is a flatland genius. |
click to enlarge | | Finest Rob, chimpin' away on his phone at the not-so-secret trails. This day featured a lengthy debate on how to 'properly' start a fire. |
click to enlarge | | If we were to run a competition for the person who does the highest airs over the Kelvingrove hip, Gibb would definately be 'up there'. |
click to enlarge | | Ray surveys one of Scotland's weirdest wheel-stunt complexes in Townhill (or is it Hilltown?). |
click to enlarge | | Ray with a wallride under Kingston on the south side. Ray's bike's weight leads me to think that it will probably survive nuclear fall-out (along with cockroaches and Arnie). |
