The Great Escape by Paul Brickhill

I chose this book because I've seen the video of it and really enjoyed it. I also like war stories. The book is about a group of people who are held captive in a camp by a bunch of Germans. I think the book describes the characters very well as the writer keeps telling us how the guys feel in the camp and how they all work as a team and attempt their escape. The writer also gives us a good explanation of the lifestyles inside the camp and how the Germans treated them. The people who are stuck inside the camp attempt to escape by digging tunnels and producing fake I.D. some escaped, some didn't...
