It's snow jokel
OK, seeing as it's the last day of the tour, we've decided that everyone blogging today has to tell their favourite child-friendly joke. Given I'm now entering the final stages of tour madness, here is mine:
Q: What's the first sign of madness?
A: Suggs walking up your driveway.
B-dum tish!

Huey is a thieving monkey
We're on our way home! It's been a long week but a really, really great one. I'm sure I echo everyone's thoughts when I say that it's been really great to meet so many brilliant kids over the course of this week - the press would have you believe that children are the scourge of our nation, but if what we've seen this week is anything to go by, the future is bright...
Last night's hotel was amazing, I had a four poster bed! Shame that we got there at about quarter to 11 and went straight to sleep, only to get up 8 hours later and get on the coach - I had a fabulous seaview from my window and to top off my week, a bathrobe!! I think tour madness really must be setting in because that little touch really did make my day even if I wasn't allowed to spend all morning lounging around in it, drinking coffee and watching 'This Morning'.
So at the end of our trip, the bonus is that I don't think I got headlice! I'm almost disappointed actually. I have developed a complete aversion to bread however, from all the sandwiches we've eaten on this trip. But this is actually a good thing.
OK, as Huey has requested, I'll sign off with my second favourite joke at the moment (because he stole my first choice, the horror)...
I was thinking about writing a book on hedgehogs.... But then I realised that paper would be easier!!
On that note....

Anarchy on the bus
I had high hopes for our final trip of the tour. A fun packed 5 hour journey with the whole star pupil crew on the infamous fun bus was actually looking quite appealing. And we were going to be bolstered by some new recruits in the shape of Scott, Chappers and Laura.
Bizarrely everyone seems to have urgent plans come out of the woodwork - leaving a skeleton crew on the bus and not a sniff of a Mills team. I think that "One Night With Laura" has put them off buses for a while!
The good news was that I finally got to choose a movie to watch. The bad news is that "Garden State" only lasted 35 minutes before it was voted off. The heathens. Have they no taste? (well now we are watching Bugsy Malone - so obviously not!)
To keep Huey happy - "whats brown and sticky"
"a stick".
Jeez - I need to return to normality.

Friday - 21.16pm
Natasha (she only communicates via the power of one liners)
Two jokes!
Q: What do you do when you see a spaceman?
A: Park in it man!
Q: What do you get hanging from mango trees?
A: Sore arms!

The end of the road!
Hi everyone. It's the last day of Star Pupil and to be honest, I was feeling slightly apprehensive this morning. We were taking McFly into a school of 1200 pupils and I was imagining carnage!!! So, to ensure it all went to plan (and that I kept my job!).....barriers were erected around the stage, security staff were briefed, and.... Piers and I even had to go into the staffroom for a meeting with every single teacher in school! It was pretty scary. I nearly admitted to being the one who was found smoking behind the bikesheds despite the fact that I do not smoke and I didn't even know where the bikesheds were! However - I am glad to say the day went without a hitch - the pupils were brilliant and every single student got to see the band! Dougie, Danny, Harry and Tom joined in with all the fun - and even got their feet muddy on the farm (although not their brand spanking new trainers, which stayed safely on a hay bale while they went into the pig enclosure).
So....I am now on the coach travelling back to London after a long but fun week on the road. I cannot wait to spend the night in my own bed. A big thanks to the team - what a great bunch to be with for a week - everyone pulled their weight and a good few kilos more and managed a smile at 6.30am!! It's been a lot of work but we have also had a lot of laughs and met a lot of great people. Thanks to all the staff at the schools for helping us make this week happen - and thanks to the winners for bringing us to their schools. So...enough of all that - bring on the next tour!! Megan.....you know you love it!!!

Last day!
We arrived in Minehead late last night and I can't tell you how weird it was to see some fresh meat - what I mean by that is that Scott Mills and his team were sat in the hotel bar awaiting our arrival. Having spent what seems like a lifetime with the same 8 people, I had forgotten that life outside Star Pupil existed.
Today was a great end to a fabulous week - the school, McFly and Amy the Star Pupil were all fantastic. The school disco was a great way to round it off and have to admit I went into a time warp and thought I was a 15 year old girl again - Nat and I couldn't resist joining in the kids' conga at the end of the disco, much to Scott and Laura's amusement!
As the show ended I got a bit emo, but managed to hold back my tears - I've been working on Star Pupil for such a long time that I've forgotten what life without it was like.
I personally have had a very challenging, fun, tiring and fantastic time and I'm lucky to have spent the last 6 days with such amazing people. Edith is a total star and made me laugh so much throughout the week.. Tasha is a rock and covers everyone's back, Star Pupil would not have happened without Natalie's laughter and attention to detail. Piers is simply hilarious (and a bit sexually confused) - it's gonna be weird not having him call, shout, yell "Megan!" at me randomly. Huey and Kate worked every hour possible to make sure you lot saw the photos. Pete is king of the one liners - and last but not least, Will - he's SO wrong but SO right!.. I have one thing to say to all the team 'You Know I Love It'!!!!!

It's all about me
As you know we were in Minehead last night... we got to a small guest house just before midnight or so. It was all a bit chintzy with a worrying amount of ornaments but very comfortable and best of all it had free broadband internet... I don't often moan but if Mrs Miggins' tiny guest house can do it for free, why the hell can't the big chain hotels? 20 quid to check a few emails overnight! What's that all about?
Anyway, this tour...
We've managed not to lose any gear... Always good.
We've driven away from the service stations with everyone on board... Always handy.
Will and I brought Huey down to our gutter level humour. Always happens.
Queen of the website, Kate, needs this blog now so a quick wrap up of the day...
Can't stop singing “It's all about you, it's all about you baby!”
I had to turn down the mic volume on the camera to 'barely audible' cos the screaming for McFly was so loud it was distorting on the video. That gives a small insight into the level of hysteria today. Fantastic, I love this job.
See you on the next tour. xx
