Clare Balding was already a respected sports presenter when she won wide praise for her presentation of Channel 4's coverage of the Paralympics 2012. She has since begun presenting Britain's Brightest on BBC 1 and Good Morning Sunday on Radio 2.

In the late 80's she was a leading amateur jockey and horse racing has been a significant strand in her broadcasting career as she now presents Channel 4's racing coverage. She has reported from five Olympics and many other sporting events.
