Radio shows and red carpets are the usual domain of this celeb, but now she’s taking centre stage in the Strictly Ballroom!

Fans will know Clara from the legendary BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge, as well as her former hosting duties on the station’s Chart Show, making her the second ever woman to host the slot since 1967. She’s also made waves in the TV world, presenting ITV2’s Brit Awards red carpet coverage for the past three years, as well as the BAFTA TV Awards red carpet and the BBC’s official Glastonbury and Radio 1 Big Weekend coverage.

But her talents don’t stop there - Clara can also be found DJing at big brand events and has been a recurring judge of the prestigious Mercury Music Prize. Not to mention her stints on shows such as Would I Lie To You, Celebrity MasterChef and Pointless, plus her starring spot on the front cover of British Vogue. Oh, and did we mention she’s got a book in the works ready to drop next year?

It sounds like Clara’s got enough on her plate without trying to learn swivels and Samba rolls, but she’s more than ready to dive headfirst into the world of Strictly.

“I'm here to love the experience, I want to get swept up in it. I'm ready for it,” she said. “Am I nervous? Absolutely. Am I excited? Even more so.”
