Ian 'H' Watkins
Ian ‘H’ Watkins, singer and actor is a member of Steps, one of Britain’s most successful pop groups. The band who are currently on a hiatus have sold over 20 million albums. During Steps heyday Ian was nicknamed ‘H’ for his hyperactive personality. Between 1997 and 2001 Steps amassed an incredible 14 top 10 singles, and five top five albums becoming one of the biggest pop groups of the early millennium.

After Steps first split in 2001, H was part of H & Claire with fellow ex-steps member Claire Richards. They released three top 10 hit singles and an album and presented the Saturday morning show SM:TV live.

Ian moved into musical theatre and acting after H & Claire split. His first major role was as Joseph in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s ‘Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat’. He has also appeared in the west end production of Fame, and reprised the role of Joseph in 2013.
Steps reformed in May 2011 for a four-part documentary series on Sky Living titled Steps: Reunion. They also released a second greatest hits album, the ultimate collection; the album entered the charts at number 1, becoming the band's third UK number 1 album. Series 2 of Steps Reunion titled "Steps: On The Road Again" aired on Sky Living in April 2012; the series followed the band as they embarked on their sell-out 22-date uk tour.
