Paul Merton is a writer, broadcaster and comedian best known for Have I Got News For You, Room 101 and Just a Minute. He has written and directed a variety of film related documentaries for the BBC including "Paul Merton’s Birth of Hollywood", "Paul Merton’s Weird and Wonderful World of Early Cinema" and "Paul Merton Looks at Alfred Hitchcock".
