As well as this, she has cooked in Dubai, Lake Como, France and New York - working with families and special requests. She returns to the competition determined to show how her cooking has evolved since her previous appearance on Great British Menu.
Louisa started her career in professional kitchens before moving into fine-dining, securing a position at Adam’s Restaurant in Birmingham - an opportunity she has described as a turning point for her culinary technique, precision and confidence. In 2017, she reached the final three of MasterChef: The Professionals. She returned to the MasterChef Professionals kitchen in 2020, winning the Festive Knockout.
In 2018 Louisa launched her own private-chef business. Alongside this, she has worked closely with young chefs as a Chef Judge for Nestlé Professional’s Toque d’Or competition, mentoring and supporting emerging talent within the industry.
Louisa first competed on Great British Menu during the Olympics year in 2024, cooking for the judges but narrowly missing out to Adam Smith, whose fish course went on to reach the banquet.
Passionate about empowering women in hospitality, Louisa hopes her work will inspire more young women to pursue careers in fine dining and professional kitchens.
Her menu focuses on storytelling, and really capturing that cinema magic on the plate.
