Anaïs Constans

I was born in Montauban in the Tarn-et-Garonne region and graduated from the conservatoire in Toulouse and the Centre Nationale d’Artistes Lyriques in Marseille before continuing my studies with Claudine Ducret, Jean Marc Bouget and Nino Pavlenichvili.

I have won prizes at several international competitions including the Public Prize and third prize at the Théâtre du Capitole, Toulouse’s international competition in 2013, first prize and youth prize at the 2013 Mâcon International Singing Competition, joint third prize at the 2014 Operalia competition in Los Angeles and third prize at the 2014 Competition Montserrat Caballé in Zaragoza.

My recent engagements include Le feu L’enfant et les sortilèges and Pisana I due Foscari at Théâtre du Capitole, Toulouse; Miss Ellen Lakmé at Opéra Théâtre Saint-Étienne; Pauline La vie parisienne at Opéra de Toulon; Musetta La bohème at the Gattières Festival and Lucy The Telephone at the Festival symphonies d’automne.

Coming up, my diary for the future includes performances as Nannetta Falstaff at the Saint-Céré festival; La voce del cielo Don Carlo at Opéra National de Bordeaux; Berta Il barbiere di Siviglia Opéra Bastille and Der Schäfer Tannhaüser at Opéra Monte-Carlo.

I enjoy travelling, discovering new cultures and spending time with friends.
