Jason is head chef at the award-winning Raven Hotel in Shropshire.

After leaving The Saracens at Hadnall, Shrewsbury, Jason joined The Raven in June 2013. Since then, he has earned the hotel 2 AA rosettes and the restaurant is also listed in both the Michelin guide and the Good Food Guide.
Jason competed on Great British Menu for the first time last year, against Mark Poynton and Aktar Islam. He was judged by Marcus Wareing and received the highest mark of the week, a 9 for his main course, but failed to reach the judges chamber.
Jason started cooking full time when he turned 16 - his menu draws inspiration from dishes he made with his mother, and honours some of the pioneers of the Institute over its 100 year history.
