As a girl, Fiona dreamt of becoming a ballet dancer, and her early training at the Elmhurst Ballet School will stand her in good stead when she takes to the Strictly dance floor.
Fiona’s acting career began in 1969 when she appeared in her first film Run Wild, Run Free, but her big break came in 1972 when she took the lead in Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, alongside Peter Sellers.
She then went on to play one of the leads in the TV hospital drama Angels in 1975, before appearing as Guinevere in the West End musical Camelot with Richard Harris in 1982. A succession of high-profile roles followed in the 80s including Clarice Mannors in the TV series The Charmer.
In 1996 Fiona turned her back on the limelight and settled with her family in the Cotswolds countryside. It was here she found her interest in property and a passion for writing. She has written property columns for many national papers as well as several books.
