In session

Kanada began in late 2008 as a rock fusion three piece hailing from the Redditch area.
It quickly developed into a band full of improvisation, whether in the studio or live at gigs, exploring rock to reggae, pop to acoustic.
"Loud and raucous with some catchy tunes!" - Andrew Marston.
All of our live studio sessions and festival gigs since 2005

Hereford Blues Club

A brand new blues night is set to launch in Hereford next month and will see fortnightly gigs taking place in the city.
The Hereford Blues Club, run by Porkbelly and Clear Cut Promotions, will launch at the Booth Hall on Saturday, 13 February, after former Hereford resident John Hales moved back to the city to find the once-thriving scene was no more.
Originally, the plan was hold a one-off night at the Left Bank with guitar legend Mick Ralphs on March 5 - but the event proved so popular they decided to make it a regular thing.

People's History Of Pop

On Sunday 7 February, we're broadcasting a special programme looking back at the venues that hosted some of the biggest names in music.
Now when you think of Foregate Street in Worcester, you probably imagine the train station, the Odeon and Gala Bingo.
But if you were around in the 60s and 70s, you'd have definitely said The Gaumont.
This week - we hear your memories of The Beatles, Roy Orbison, Cat Stephens and Jimi Hendrix!

BBC Introducing in Hereford

BBC Introducing in Hereford & Worcester supports unsigned, undiscovered and under-the-radar musicians from Herefordshire and Worcestershire.
Since 2011, we've been taking the show out on-the-road showcasing the very best musicians from our two counties.
On Sunday 31 January, we'll be rolling up to The Victory in Hereford to record several acts who we've been playing on BBC Hereford & Worcester recently.
We'll bring the bands - all we need now is the fans!
None of these artists knew they were being considered for a live session - they were chosen based on the tracks they uploaded to us.
So if you'd like to Be Part Of It then simply turn up on the day - it's free to get in - but you must be prepared to make lots of noise for local music!
Doors open at 4pm - but you're more than welcome to turn up any time until 8pm.
