King Mantis' BBC Introducing session

This week, we bring you a band who've had nothing but bad luck!

They're King Mantis - and were big in Hereford, coincidentally, about 8 years ago.

Since then, they've been offered many festival gigs which they weren't able to do, tried to record in several studios that were to either become crime scenes or get struck by lightning - to eventually selling out and becoming a wedding covers band.

But they're back - and the strike of lightning has proved to be a strike of inspiration and they're sounding as great as ever!
