Get to know Derek Brown from the band Lunasmith, a four-piece alternative-indie band from New Jersey, with members from Shropshire, Brazil and the USA. Formed during the chaos of COVID-19, discover how one Newport man's pilgrimage stateside ended up creating a musical blend of classic 70s rock, grunge and punk to create a unique wall of sound. Channeling acts with strong female leads such as Elastica, Skunk Anansie and The Cranberries, meet Derek and Belinda, who take us on a journey in to a day in their life, in full view of the Hudson River and the city that never sleeps.
