Nature of Wires is IT consultant Gary Watts and armourer Andrew Stirling-Brown, both from Hereford, while Maren Northway is a former opera singer from Fullerton, California, with one of the most distinctive voices in the business.
For the past year, or so, they've been writing music together over the internet!
The band actually dates back to the '80s with dark new wave sounds reminiscent of acts such as Gary Numan, Pet Shop Boys, Shamen, Cyferdyne, Combichrist, Aesthetic Perfection and Kraftwerk.
However, they've spent this last decade playing in rock bands!
"Think Pet Shop Boys meets Depeche Mode. A quality show, reminiscent of '80s synth-pop." - Andrew Marston

Mott The Hoople: Tributes

Members of the Herefordshire band Mott The Hoople have expressed sadness at the death of band mate Dale Griffin.
Dale, also known as 'Buffin', received an Alzheimer's diagnosis 9 years ago and passed away on Sunday night aged 67.
It comes just a week after the death of David Bowie, who also worked with the band.

BBC Introducing in Hereford

BBC Introducing in Hereford & Worcester supports unsigned, undiscovered and under-the-radar musicians from Herefordshire and Worcestershire.
Since 2011, we've been taking the show out on-the-road showcasing the very best musicians from our two counties.
On Sunday 31 January, we'll be rolling up to The Victory in Hereford to record several acts who we've been playing on BBC Hereford & Worcester recently.
We'll bring the bands - all we need now is the fans!
None of these artists knew they were being considered for a live session - they were chosen based on the tracks they uploaded to us.
So if you'd like to Be Part Of It then simply turn up on the day - it's free to get in - but you must be prepared to make lots of noise for local music!
Doors open at 4pm - but you're more than welcome to turn up any time until 8pm.
