red:line:ratio are situated between Bromsgrove, Kidderminster and Stourbridge.
They formed around six years ago and are constantly writing, rehearsing and performing.
They occasionally throw the odd cover into their set and their influences are too wide to mention!

LakeFest

LakeFest is a relatively new music festival taking place on the Worcestershire border, near Evesham, at Bredon Hardwick.
Ash, Goldie Lookin Chain, Billy Bragg, The Cheeky Girls, The Magic Numbers, Hayseed Dixie, N-Trance and Nizlopi are all on this year's lineup.
Yesterday we were there recording all of our sessions to go out next month.

Colwall Family Music Festival

This month's sessions were recorded at the Colwall Family Music Festival, near Ledbury.
Since 2014, the organisers have made it their mission to raise funds for The British Heart Foundation.
The event is run by Neil Collins who owns a sound and lighting hire company and was the man behind Re-Con in Great Malvern.

Hospice choir

Less than a year after their first-ever performance, the St Michael's Hospice Community Choir has sung at one of the world's most prestigious classical musical festivals.
The volunteer choir has an age range of 7 to 70+ and performed at the Three Choirs Festival in Hereford in front of a full house.
They finished with a rendition of the new fundraising anthem written by Denise Bishop who works at the hospice in Bartestree.

BBC Introducing in Hereford & Worcester stage at the Worcester Music Festival

Our next recording session takes place at Drummonds in Worcester, on Sunday 20 September from 2pm, as part of this year's Worcester Music Festival.
The event has been compared to a local version of SXSW with several pubs and clubs around the city hosting live music with song-writing workshops also taking place during the weekend.
It was founded in 2008 by Chris Bennion who makes Worcestershire Sauce who wanted his area to be known for more than just Lea & Perrins.
