Your Sunday sonic and cultural adventure, Cerys brightens your Sunday morning by embracing Patti Smith, a mountain festival, drummers and Spanish musician Rita Payés.
Patti Smith's iconic 1975 debut album Horses turns 50 and as part of Patti Smith Forever, Cerys explores some of her poetry, her introductions to the work of William Blake and her memoir 'For Kids'.
Spanish jazz and bossa nova trombonist, singer and songwriter Rita Payés Roma shares some of her favourite tracks, ahead of her appearance at the London Jazz festival.
Cerys is also joined by the organisers of Kendal Mountain festival, which celebrates outdoor and adventure culture with a diverse programme of films, talks, workshops and other events.
And ahead of national drummer day on November 15th, Cerys shares clips from and about iconic drummers across the history or modern popular music.
