New Year, New Music
Gary West celebrates the dawn of a new year with more top quality piping including the first dip into a new release from exciting up and coming player, Eddie Seaman.
If New Year is a time for reflecting on the past and looking to the future, then Gary West has both covered in the first edition of Pipeline of 2022. The 'new' comes from a first taster of the debut album from top young piper, Eddie Seaman, while the classic sounds of the past include sets from the late Arthur Gillies and both the Boghall and Bathgate and Vale of Atholl pipe bands. There's fast-fingered fireworks from RS MacDonald, while Ulsterman, Robert Watt, entertains his Hebridean audience with a trio of singalong Gaelic airs and a set of evergreen jigs.
