Anniversaries and Celebrations
Top-drawer piping including archive gems from 40 years ago, a new single in honour of the Queen's 95th birthday and a pibroch arrangement with a difference from France.
Gary West invites you to join him for more high quality music from across the piping spectrum including two sets from the late Hugh McCallum recorded at the Royal Scottish Pipers Society centenary concert in 1982, and a newly released piece of music from the Royal Airforce Central Pipes and Drums composed to mark the Queen's 95th birthday last year. There's pipe band sets from the Field Marshall Montgomery and St Lawrence O'Toole, solo highland piping from Pipe Major Peter MacGregor and young star, Callum Moffat, folk-infused dance sets from Breabach and Beinn Lee, and a pibroch arrangement with a difference, from Brittany in France.
