How much are tickets to Asian Network Live?

The cost of standing tickets is £16 + administration fees and £20 + administration fees for seating. A maximum of 6 tickets per person applies for BBC Asian Network Live 2019.

How can I get tickets to attend Asian Network Live 2019?

You can buy tickets through the Arena Birmingham website or if you don’t have access to the internet you will also be able to book tickets via the Ticket Factory phone number –0844 338 0338. Calls cost 7p per minute plus your phone company's access charge – mobiles will be more please check your phone provider.

Our lines are open from 9am to 7pm (Monday to Friday) and 9am to 5pm (Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays exc. Christmas and New Year). Please specify when purchasing whether you would like standing or seated tickets.

Is there an age restriction to attend?

The minimum age of the event is 16 years of age. 16 and 17 year olds do not need to be accompanied by an adult 18+. You may be required to provide photographic ID for example: School/College Student ID, Passport, photocopy of Passport, photocopy of birth certificate, Validated UK ID Card, Proof of Age Card

What are the fees added to my booking and what are they used for?

The booking fee for Asian Network Live is 13% of the face value of each ticket and covers Ticket Factory staff costs, administration and all other associated ticketing costs. £1.20 venue facility fee per ticket is added to each ticket.

Administration fees = booking fee +venue facility fees.

A further £2.55 fulfilment fee per transaction is added to all tickets purchased for events at the Arena Birmingham. This fee contributes to the cost of delivering the tickets, whether it is through the post, electronically or collecting at the venue. The fulfilment fee also contributes to other operational costs and overheads associated with ticket fulfilment. The fulfilment fee will not be payable if a ticket is purchased and collected at the box office at the same time.

How do I get to Arena Birmingham?

The Arena Birmingham is on King Edwards Rd, B1 2AA.

Nearest Train Station: Birmingham New Street, Moor Street, Snow Hill and Five Ways train stations are a short walk away. Buses run past the Arena all day long. If you’ve travelled by coach to Digbeth coach station, the Arena is a 30 minute walk or a short taxi ride.

Where is the Drop-off point?

If you are arriving by car or taxi, but do not require parking, you need to be dropped at the bottom of the main steps on King Edward's Road, then follow the boardwalk to Entrance E.

ARRIVING AT ASIAN NETWORK LIVE

What time will Asian Network Live start?

Door opening times are 6.30pm with music starting at 7pm. Please arrive with enough time to allow for security checks. The show will be finished by 11pm.

Security

All door staff will be conducting mandatory security checks upon entry. It is a condition of entry that the ticket holder consents to being searched.

All the audience will have their bags searched and will be asked to walk through a security arch.

Bags larger than larger than 42cm x 30cm x 15cm are not permitted. That’s the size of an A3 sheet of paper. If you do bring a bag larger than A3 then there is an arena bag drop which operates on a first come first served basis at a cost of £10 per item. Anyone believed to be under the influence of alcohol or an illegal substance will be refused entry, or asked to leave.

PLEASE ALLOW FOR ADDITIONAL TIME FOR SECURITY CHECKS WHEN ARRIVING AT THE EVENT.

Can I bring food and drink into the event?

No food or drink can be brought into the venue. The bar will be selling alcohol operating Challenge 25, soft drinks and snacks.

Can I bring a camera?

Yes, but please be aware professional photography equipment such as zoom lenses are not allowed in the venue.

Does the venue have a cloakroom?

The Arena does not have a cloakroom due to the volume of people that attend events and the congestion this could result in. We therefore suggest that you keep your personal belongings to a bare minimum, as we cannot accept responsibility for items brought onto the premises.

Valuables

All persons attending the concert are responsible for their own valuables. The BBC will not be liable for any loss or damage to personal property brought to the venue.
