DJ Target has an in-depth interview with Lethal Bizzle about his past, present and future

Target got Lethal Bizzle in to talk bangers, beginnings and stolen beats

Over 45 minutes Lethal Bizzle and Radio 1's Target chatted everything from 90s drum'n'bass, East London, More Fire Crew and meeting the rappers that inspired him.

He also revealed the true story behind Jay Z's involvement in his iconic (and controversial) track Pow.

Having performed POW during a show at the Royal Albert Hall, Jay Z went on to record a verse for the legendary Grime track but it was never released.

Although Jay Z has performed the track with Lethal Bizzle in the past.

A bunch of Grime songs were sent over to Jay and he picked Pow to work on. Lethal got the call from Green Lantern, who told him they were gonna use it for the tour.

At the time, Lethal was hanging with Rio Ferdinand quite a lot (as you do) and he got a call from him, with Pow in the background - Jay-Z dropping it on tour in Wembley Arena.

To see the show, Lethal ended up paying a tout for a ticket outside the Royal Albert Hall - Pow comes on and he's drenched in champagne, in the box, watching his song go out by an artist who inspired him to first make music.

Lethal got invited to glamorous Milton Keynes to see Linkin Park - who'd worked with Jay-Z.

Hanging backstage, he realises he's standing next to the legend, freaks out. He met Jay-Z on the stage stairs, tried to keep it cool while his hero makes constant eye contact.

No matter how big you are, that's still a legendary moment.

The full story of Pow also played out on Twitter. Click here to see what happened.

Lethal B also told us about so much more than just his involvement with Jay Z.
