Is the entertainment all on big screens?
Radio 2 Live in Hyde Park is a live concert with artists performing on a stage. There will also be two large screens adjacent to the stage.
Are dogs allowed at the event?
No pets are allowed within the event site. Guide Dogs however will be permitted.
Can I bring a chair?
Yes, one folding chair per person is allowed. There will be an area towards the rear of the arena where chairs can be used and they will not be permitted outside of this area.
Can I bring a table?
No, tables are not permitted on site.
Can I reserve a chair?
Unfortunately, it is not possible to reserve a chair.
What should I wear?
It is advisable to keep an eye on the weather forecast in the days running up to the event. It can still be very hot during the day in September, so sunscreen is a good idea. It also gets quite chilly later on in the evening, so come prepared with some warm clothing as well.
Are there any public telephones at the event?
There are no public telephones in Hyde Park.
Can I get back in to the event after I leave?
There is no re-admission to this event. Once you have left the event site you will not be able to get back in.
Is there anywhere that I can arrange to meet up with my friend?
There is a ‘Meeting Point’ on the north side of the arena next to the main entrance, this will be clearly visible once you are inside the event site.

Will there be a printed programme that I can buy at the event?
Yes, there is a printed programme that will give details about the evening and the artists.
Will the event go ahead if it rains?
Yes, the event will go ahead regardless of the weather conditions.

It is likely that there will be strobe lighting.
I would like to bring a small tent with me, is this allowed?
No. No tents, gazebos or shelters of any kind or size are permitted.
I have a golf umbrella that I would like to bring with me, will this be allowed?
Yes, although nothing larger than a golf umbrella, and please be considerate to people around you. You might be better off using a plastic mac with a hood.
Can I bring my bicycle in to the event arena?
Bicycles are not permitted in the event arena.
What time can I get into the event?
Gates are at 11.00am, with last admittance to the event at 9.00pm.
What time does the concert begin?
Entertainment on the main stage begins at 1:30pm.
Is there an interval?
There will be changeover periods between performances.
What time will the concert end?
The event ends at approximately 9:30pm.
