Mr Bloom performed at the Tees Transporter bridge

In collaboration with BBC Look North, the North East played host to some exciting events. The Tees Transporter Bridge played a leading role in Take It To The Bridge for BBC Music Day.

At 7pm on the 3rd June 2016, BBC Music Day, church bells rang out at:

• St Hilda's Church, Hartlepool, Co Durham
• St Mary The Virgin, Ovingham, Northumberland
• St Nicholas Church, Cramlington, Northumberland
• Holy Cross Church, Ryton, Tyne and Wear
• All Saints Parish Church, Lanchester, Co Durham
