National Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Trans Domestic Violence helpline

National Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Trans Domestic Violence helpline run by Galop, provides support to LGBT people suffering domestic abuse. Violence helpline providing confidential support to all members of the LGBT community, their families, friends and agencies supporting them. Their trained LGBT helpline workers can help build a safety plan, discuss housing options, give general information about legal rights, local support services, discuss making a police report and provide confidential listening support. The Freephone 24 hour National Domestic Violence Helpline

The Freephone 24 hour National Domestic Violence Helpline, run in partnership between Women's Aid and Refuge, is a national service for women experiencing domestic violence, their family, friends, colleagues and others calling on their behalf.

The National Centre for Domestic Violence

The National Centre for Domestic Violence (NCDV) provides a free, fast emergency injunction service to survivors of domestic violence regardless of their financial circumstances, race, gender or sexual orientation. Their service allows anyone to apply for an injunction within 24 hours of first contact (in most circumstances). They work in close partnership with the police, local firms of solicitors and other support agencies (Refuge, Women’s Aid etc) to help survivors obtain speedy protection.

Scottish Women's Aid

Scottish Women's Aid is a lead organisation in Scotland working towards the prevention of domestic abuse. An important aspect of their work is ensuring that women and children with experience of domestic abuse get the services they need, both from local Women’s Aid groups and from the agencies they are likely to contact. Their members are local Women’s Aid groups which provide specialist services to women, children and young people. These include safe refuge accommodation, information and support.

Mankind

Mankind is a charity that offers specialist support services in the South East of England to men who have experienced childhood sexual abuse and/or adult sexual assault at any time in their lives. SomeOne Cares offer free confidential counselling to anyone who have been effected from any form of abuse. They work with anyone from the age of 11years old, male and female, in the North East of England.
