Suspect: Cindy Williams
Alibi, possible motive and reasons leading to the suspicion of Cindy Williams in the death of Lucy Beale..

Connection to Lucy: Half sister

Cindy being told that Lucy had died.
- Alibi: At home
- Possiblemotive: Jealousy
It was Cindy who told everyone that Ian was not at home with her on the night Lucy died – proving his alibi false. And she was certainly shaken by the suspicious uncovering of Lucy’s musical jewellery box on Christmas Day. She was known to be jealous of Lucy being the favourite child, and has made those feelings vocal in the past. It was her, after all, who told Ian and the police about Lucy’s cocaine addiction.

“At first I was sure it was Peter but now I’m doubting myself! I feel like now that people think it’s him it may not be him - maybe its Ian but I don’t know! I’m leaning towards the Beales but I don’t know; I could be wrong. I’ve changed my mind so many times. I don’t think it’s me but I think I’ve gone up in the betting shops - so you never know! If it was me I’d be like 'Yes, I’m the new Janine - I finally got to murder someone!'”Mimi Keene
