Balmoral Castle – near Ballater, Aberdeenshire

We hope the following information will be helpful for your visit to the Antiques Roadshow at Balmoral.

  • The Balmoral Estate is on the A93 between Braemar and Ballater – about 50 miles west of Aberdeen.
  • There will be AA signage at the main entrance to the Estate.
  • The Balmoral Estate car parks on the A93 will be closed for the day and there will be no waiting on either the A93 or the B976.
  • Cars will be directed into the Estate and will park in the Event Field which is a short walk from the Roadshow event area.
  • There will be a designated parking area closer to the event for Blue badge holders.
  • The normal admission charge to Balmoral will be waived on the day, but there will be a car parking charge of £5.00 per car.
  • The event is outdoors and you should come dressed for the weather.
  • Refreshments will be available in the Balmoral Coffee Shop and in the Antiques Roadshow tea tent.
  • Dogs are welcome in the grounds and gardens at Balmoral – however they should be kept under control and on a lead at all times.
  • Any firearms brought to the Roadshow must have a Firearms Certificate.
