  • This will be an outdoor event and it will take place principally on the parkland on the south side of the house, overlooking the Fal Estuary.
  • Please be aware that the parkland is by its very nature, uneven and undulating. We suggest you wear appropriate footwear to the event and that you come prepared for whatever the weather may bring.
  • In the event of wet weather, some of the Roadshow specialists and their respective queues will be moved into a marquee, but space will be limited and it may still be necessary to queue in the rain. We will be able to provide ponchos for basic cover for you or your items.
  • Light refreshments including tea, cakes, sandwiches etc. can be purchased from the Antiques Roadshow Tea Tent and from The Crofters Café.
  • Dogs on short leads will be permitted in the parkland area where the event will be taking place, but they will not be allowed into the Gardens at Trelissick (apart from guide dogs).
  • Smoking is not permitted in the grounds of Trelissick.
  • Any firearms brought to the Roadshow must have a Firearms Certificate.
  • The House will be closed to visitors on the day of the recording.

Travel

Road

  • There will be AA signage to the event.
  • Follow the A39 from Falmouth or Truro and take the B3289 at Playing Place towards Trelissick and the King Harry Ferry. Follow the brown tourist signs for Trelissick.
  • SATNAV- please use postcode TR3 6QL

Parking

  • Parking for Roadshow visitors will be in the Parkland Overflow Car Park area, which is adjacent to the main car park.
  • The car parking area will be marshalled from 7.00 a.m. on the day of the Roadshow and parking will be FREE of charge.
  • The route across the parkland to the area where the Roadshow event will be taking place will be clearly indicated.

Train

  • The nearest railway stations are Truro (approximately 5 miles) and Perranwell (approximately 4 miles)

Bus

Ferry

  • There will be extra ferry services running from Falmouth and Truro to Trelissick Quay on the day of the Roadshow. Please check the FalRiver website for more information - http://www.falriver.co.uk/getting-about/ferries/enterprise-boats
  • Antiques Roadshow visitors will be able to buy ferry tickets at a special discounted rate of £5.00 for a return ticket.
  • The first ferries from Falmouth and Truro will leave at 0830 and will run every hour.
  • The last ferry to Falmouth will be at 1800 and the last ferry to Truro will be leaving at 1700.

  • Please be aware that there is a steep uphill walk from the ferry pontoon and the pontoon is not suitable for wheelchairs or mobility scooters.
  • If you are planning to arrive by ferry, please bring easily portable items.
