Zahra Ajetunmobi na 13-year-old climate change activist and child education advocate.

She be di youngest keynote speaker during di COP28 Climate Change Summit for Dubai for 2023, and she also take part for dis year United Nations General Assembly.

Her work don carry her meet President Bola Tinubu who describe her as 'di future'.

For dis exclusive interview wit BBC Pidgin, Zahra tok wetin she go like make di Nigerian goment focus on to tackle di issue of climate change.

On how her love for sustainable development take start, she say wen she bin dey nine or 10 years old, she bin get one lesson for school wia dem bin dey learn about Pink Farms, and dis bin dey interesting to am.

"At di end of di lesson, my teacher put up a slide wey get all di 17 SDG goals and she tell us to choose one and relate am to di topic.

So I kon dey very interested and very curious as na SDGs, so I go house and research about am, na like dat my passion for sustainable development take start," she tok.

Zahra say na pipo dey cause climate change.

"Na we dey put trash for gutter, and wia di trash dey go? We no know.

"Ova di years, dose trash go start to dey release harmful gas into di atmosphere and dat go affect di whole weather, e go affect di weather patterns, evritin. So we suppose work on our trash management, and we suppose know say no fit just dey put trash evriwia," di young girl tok.

Zahra advise goment to build roads sake of say exhaust from cars wey dey stuck for traffic dey also affect climate change. She say if beta road traffic no go too much.
