Mfantsipim school beat St. Augustine's College and Opoku Ware school to win back-to-back national science and maths quiz titles for Ghana.
Di central region-based school emerge winner afta strong competition from St. Augustine's college for di tense finale wey hapun for di university of Cape Coast auditorium Thursday night.
Afta five rounds of contest, Mfantsipim school get 56 points, St. Augustine's get 42 points, wey Opoku Ware wey many pipo tink say dem be favourites for di final, chop third wit 29 points.
Wit dis win, Mfantsipim now win dia fourth title afta dem win am 1999, 2014 and 2024.
Dem tie wit Prempeh College and St. Augustine's college wey also get four titles each.
PRESEC remain di most successful school for di competition wit eight titles.
For dia prize package, Mfantsipim school (alias Botwe) get GHC 70K ($6.5K) cash, insurance for di contestants as well as scholarship packages.
Some of di prize money be for di school, some be for di contestants, wey some be for dia trainers.

For 2024, Mfantsipim (47 points) stage comeback to win di title against St. Augustine's college (46 points) and Keta SHTS (32 points).

Breakdown of schools wey participate for dis year competition
Organizers of di competition, Primetime limited say 174 high schools participate for di national science and maths quiz dis year.
Nine of dis number be private high schools.
Out of di number, 147 of dem compete among each oda for di preliminary stage to seal spots for di next round.
For di one-eight stage, di winners of di preliminary stages join 27 seeded schools.
For di school to become seeded, dem bin need to reach di quarterfinals of di competition di previous year.
For di quarter-final stage, 27 schools face each oda while nine schools compete for di semifinals.
One of di highlights for dis year championship be say 15 schools participate for di first time dis year.
Dis include Prampram SHS, Our Lady of Lourdes Girls, Ngleshie Amanfro SHS, Attafuah SHTS and Akro SHTS.
Oda schools like Presby SHS Adeiso, Wovenu SHTS, Mankessim SHTS, Agona SHTS and Juaboso SHS also participate for di first time.
Di rest of di schools be Abomusu STEM SHS, Anum Presby SHS, Senya SHS, Salaga T.I Ahmadiyya SHS and Nyakrom SHTS.
