 | | | Artist profile International politics and the repercussions of decisions made by the few on behalf of the many.
In broad terms this is the basis of my practice. I have deep concerns as to how politicians, assisted by the media, can influence public opinion with false information and a constant conjuring of the truth.
For years leaders of the western world have been party to inhumane and sometimes illegal activities. Predominantly international issues such as arms sales and foreign aid are the focus for my thoughts.
"The World will never be the same", a phrase used by political and social commentators ever since September 11th.
The shockwaves sent through the international community following the initial tragedy became the catalyst for my work.
The cowboyish and hypocritical behaviour of George W and his loyal sidekick in the UK gave me the impetus to delve into their government’s behaviour more closely.
