Even though the summer term has not yet started (it's still too cold for a term to be called that name!!), instead of taking a holiday somewhere I stay at uni most of the time trying to get work done as much as possible. There always seems more to be done than have done, oh well. Wan-yu, keep your chin up! I walked in the unusual pouring rain yesterday and maybe that's why I feel so cold now. They say I'd better drink a cup of tea to warm myself up or a glass of orange juice to keep the cold away from me. Oh, but, look, it is snowing now! No wonder I am cold! Snow in April. How bizarre. In Taipei the weather forecast is giving people figures like 28°C these days. Probably winter has no intention to leave England yet. This worries me. Didn't I see loads of ducklings and some swan babies the other day? Are they all going to survive the sudden cold weather? | | Swans and cygnets at York Uni campus |
I don't feel the spring (yet), but I see the spring. Newborn animals are so delighting to see. Observing them pleases me; such is the experience I don't usually get in my home town Taipei city.
