| Student Diarist: Oliver | |
| | | MMmmm... Curry..... |
| | Oliver is in his third year of an English Literature & Philosophy course at The University of York. He's a fan of curry, crisps and caffeine and aims to bring us some reflections from the brighter side of life. |
 | | | Get our priorities right Why do we spend so much time on academic theories and animal rights when we should be thinking of the starving masses? Is university pointless? Is academic success surrounded by a 'culture of mediocrity'? Would money currently given to universities be better spent on the NHS? Introducing Oliver "Hopefully most of my entries will not be vitriolic diatribes. But then, the world seems pretty absurd to me and in need of a good kicking. "
