Famed among my friends for apparently deeming everything newsworthy, I hope I've found a home for my inane (yet insightful!) ramblings on this jolly site. Hailing from the Midlands (poor me!) I love photography, arty-fartyness and all things water related. As a child I was part of a swimming club and at Uni joined the Canoe Club which, despite my continued swimming efforts, I was made the first female captain of at the end of last term! I deferred my entry to my History and Politics degree at York in order to take an Art Foundation Course and spend my days as a pseudo slacksy art student for a year. Which I very much enjoyed (and now miss!) - drawing unsightly naked people on a weekly basis included! Curious for a student at a Uni with an alarmingly disproportionate ratio between ducks and people, my only true fear/ loathing is of all things with webbed feet, beaks and wings, but aside of that I'm a pretty easy going type. This summer as with the last two, I'm shipping off to foreign shores as a kids' rep, though this year it's mini-Britain hell in the Costa del Sol rather than rainy Brittany. Being a ponderous columnist is something of a childhood dream, so here's to the plight and efforts of my pink computer and me.... And a whole lot of newsworthy chatter!
