'The most snow we've ever seen' - kids in Aberdeenshire show us what it's like to be snowed in

Have you been off school because of snow and ice?

The wintery weather has been having a big impact around the UK, with even more snow forecast for the end of the week with the first named storm of the year - Storm Goretti.

It's expected to bring rain, wind and even more of the white stuff to parts of the UK.

The most snow so far, though, has been in Scotland, where hundreds of schools have been closed.

A major incident was declared in Aberdeenshire, where schools remain shut because of the weather.

We've been hearing from children who live there about what it's like to be snowed in.
